Heidi Brees, DVM

Dr. Heidi Brees said from the time she was 3 years old that she wanted to be a veterinarian and help animals. During high school and college, she volunteered at animal shelters, socializing, and training, hoping to help the animals be able to find forever homes. She left the Pacific Northwest to attend Kansas State University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, then returned to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Washington State University in 2020.

While one of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is the diversity seen on any given day, she has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and reproduction. She loves working with dogs and cats and also enjoys goats and sheep.

In her time away from helping animals, she enjoys baking, fencing, hiking, traveling, doing craft projects, and hanging out at home with her three cats; Scamp, Pig, and Little Man.
