  • Dr. Nancy Isbell, DVM

    Dr. Nancy Isbell, DVM

    Graduating in 1983 from Washington State University, Dr. Nancy Isbell’s career has taken her through an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Tufts University. She worked with chimpanzees and tiger cubs teaching and doing clinical research.  She also has been doing acupuncture for over 12 years along with Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbology.  She spent 15 years in Port Orchard before establishing her practice in Belfair in 2007. She blends her knowledge from her Internal medicine training with the arts of Chinese medicine to provide a truly integrated therapy, combined with diet and nutritional support.  Dr. Nancy and her husband, Ton, have an elderly cat, Gibson.

  • Dr. Amanda Silverberg, DVM

    Dr. Amanda Silverberg, DVM

    Dr. Amanda Silverberg graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She completed her internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists and has also done intensive training for acupuncture on small animals through the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine. She combines her knowledge of traditional medicine with that of dietary and nutritional support with Tradition Chinese Medicine practices to provide innovative and passionate care for her patients. Dr. Amanda and her husband have a cat named, Tigra and a pup named Pip.

  • Dr. Shawn Thomas, DVM

    Dr. Shawn Thomas, DVM

    Born and raised in the suburbs of Des Moines, IA, he first got interested in working with animals during the summer of 2001, thanks to Steve Irwin (“The Crocodile Hunter”, rest his soul).

    He went to Iowa State for his undergraduate degree.  While there, he did an internship at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL.  There he met his beautiful wife, who hailed from Puyallup.  

    He moved back to Ames, IA for vet school in 2008.  Since then he has adopted the two greatest cats in the world (Anakin and Phoenix), became focused on small animal general practice, developed an interest in dentistry and small animal surgery, had the most beautiful baby boy on the planet (Ben), and moved to Washington.

    Heather Petersen

    Heather has been with Belltowne Veterinary Center since October 2006 were she started as a receptionist and now, has taken on the responsibility of Practice Manager. Heather was born and raised in California where she lived on a ranch. She moved to Washington in 1994. Twelve years ago she found the love of her  life and was married in 2010, together they have 2 dogs, 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They love boating, fishing and camping.

  • April Yates

    April Yates

    April has been an veterinary field for over 12 years, she joined Belltowne Veterinary Center in 2009 and shortly after that became the lead licensed veterinary technician. April and her husband, Paul  have 1 cat and 3 dogs, who actively participates in Fly Ball and Go to Ground. They also enjoy camping, motorcycle riding and the beach.

    Cara

    Cara was born in Vancouver, Canada. She moved to the United States in 1997. In 2004, she became a license veterinary technician. Cara and her husband, Chris,  live on a Hobby Farm with 6 dogs, 3 cats and an array of farm animals. She has graced  us with her knowledge and great skills at Belltowne Veterinary Center since 2010.

    Mandy

    Mandy joined us in November of 2012 as a Veterinary Assistant and has recently passed her state boards and is officailly a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is new to the area and is really enjoying exploring the Belfair area. In her free time she enjoys riding quads, hiking, being with friends and family and, of course, spending time with her pets. She has Bear, a shepherd malamute mix and Deimos, a doberman pincher.

    Melissa

    Melissa has been at Belltowne Veterinary Center since 2007, she has been a Veterinary Assistant for over 6 years and is studying to become a licensed technician. Melissa is married to Mike and they have 6 "kids" between them, they also have 3 Chihuahuas. Melissa enjoys reading, camping, and burning rubber at the drag strip.

    Hollyann

    With over 7 years of  veterinary care assisting, Hollyann joined Belltowne Veterinary Center in 2010. She brings alot of skills, such as assisting in surgerys, blood draws, x-rays and in hospital treatments. Hollyann enjoys horseback riding, camping, hiking, and all that the great outdoors has to offer along with her newely wedded husband, Jason, and their dog Scout.

    Hannah

    Hannah has lived in Allyn,Washington all her life and she enjoys reading, photography, horseback riding and hanging out with her family and friends, that also includes her 4 American pit bulls Kojak, Mieko,Outcast and Rain. Hannah has worked at Belltowne Veterinary Center since 2010, first as a receptionist  and now, she is currently cross training on being a veterinary assistant. Her love for animals really shine through!

    Elizabeth married her high school sweetheart Jason. They have 2 children, Emma and Garrett, they also have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Elizabeth has lived in Belfair her whole life, and with a laid back personality she knows how to have fun, she has worked for Belltowne Veterinary Center as a kennel assistant for over two years and is working on becoming a great veterinary assistant.
